NEI Datacom Low Voltage Technician
NEI Datacom is seeking individuals who possess knowledge and/or experience in the following:
- Data cabling
- Voice cabling
- Security systems
- Fiber optic cabling
- Fire alarm installation
- Access control systems
- CCTV systems
- Audio Visual systems, including overhead paging, intercoms, etc.
This is a multi-faceted position requiring attention to detail, the ability to meet strict deadlines, as well as exhibit excellent customer service.
Skills or knowledge desired, but not required are:
- A current State of Texas Security Alarm Installer License
- A current State of Texas Fire Alarm Installer License
- A current State of Texas Electronic Access Control Device Installer License
- A current State of Texas Fire Extinguisher License
- Project management experience
- Specific product manufacturers installation certification- (ex: Panduit, TE, Corning)
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
- Must own your own tools
- Ability to work possible weekend or overnight hours, if needed

Nemmer Electric Service Electrician
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Install, repair, maintain, and test commercial, industrial, and residential electrical systems in full compliance with safety procedures and policies
Use industry-related hand and power tools
Ability to operate various types of equipment
Measure, cut, bend, and thread a variety of conduit; install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems, and other wire raceway systems
Feed, pull into, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gears, receptacles, switches, etc.
Troubleshoot equipment, electrical systems, and control circuits
Communicate effectively with customers and staff
Demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers, and vendors
Employ new technologies and be committed to remaining up to date with them
Install power, lighting, and control systems
Read and interpret electrical schematics
Locate and repair faults in electrical systems and circuits
Verify compliance and functionality of installations
Document work orders efficiently including correct details
Employees Must Be Able To
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Lift 50 to 100 lbs.
Work overtime & weekends
Work from ladders, pull wires, bend conduit
Fully squat, stoop, and kneel while wearing a 25lb. tool belt
Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires
Work from various lifts, and bucket trucks
Work in a variety of weather conditions including cold, snow, rain, heat, high noise levels, etc.”
Assistant Project Manager
Assist Project Manager in all aspects of managing projects.
Keep Contract Documents current.
Assist in the submittal process.
Keep eSUB current.
Work with Project Superintendent to provide all information, in a timely manner, required to keep the project moving forward as efficiently as possible.
Track material and maintain expediting reports.
Attend job progress meetings and be able to contribute pertinent information.
Write and track R.F.I’s.
Compile and deliver closeout documents and specified spare material.
Review contract documents before the start of construction to identify any potential issues.
Must be able to use basic computer programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe etc.)
Able to use Bluebeam, Autocad, Revit, etc. a plus.
Must be able to work with other team members.
Must have good communication skills.
Must have good organizational skills.
Must be able to schedule workload and meet deadlines.
